The first four numbers count every Bright MLS closed sale in Loudoun County from January 1 to October 2, 2026, condo-owned homes left out, including small places with no page here, such as Hillsboro, Bluemont and Paeonian Springs. The 15 place pages below count by postal city. Cascades and Lansdowne sales also sit inside the Sterling and Leesburg counts, so counted once the 15 places add up to 1,740 houses and 1,199 townhouses. Loudoun County is where Northern Virginia still builds: eastern and southern Loudoun (Ashburn, Brambleton, Broadlands, Cascades, Lansdowne, Sterling, South Riding and Aldie) is mostly suburbs and planned communities near Dulles Airport and the Silver Line, Leesburg is the old county seat between east and west, and western Loudoun (Purcellville, Round Hill, Lovettsville, Hamilton, Waterford, Middleburg) is small towns and acreage.
